Neighbors, our first neighborhood gathering of the 2026-2027 season is coming up in just a few short weeks! In celebration and in support of the men and women in blue, National Night Out is an annual community-police awareness-raising event held on the first Tuesday in August.  It is also a great way to meet your neighbors!

Come join us for popsicles from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4th!

We will block off the street on Stirrup Ln. between Stable Dr. and Hitching Post Ln for an informal gathering with some appearances from our police officer friends and hopefully some cruisers.

Neighbors, welcome to the Riverside Gardens NFL Survivor Pool! Winner splits the winnings with RGCA! We hope you will join the fun and help raise funds for the Riverside Gardens Citizens' Association. All social events that the board hosts throughout the year including Oktoberfest, the Halloween Parade, Easter Egg Hunt, Block Party, and more are made possible through your Membership Dues and any Fundraisers that we do.

Link to join the RG NFL pool: Link

Entry to Play: $25 with half going to the winners pot and half to help offset future event costs.

Deadline: All entry fees must be received by Wednesday, Sept 9th!

Please read all rules below. If you have any questions, please contact us at riversidegardens22308@gmail.com.

    How It Works
    1. Pick a Winner Each Week
    • Choose one NFL team to win each week (no point spreads).
    • Ties = Losses — your team must win!
    • Submit picks on the pool site by Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST.
    • For Thursday/Saturday games, picks must be in before kickoff.
    • Picks can be changed up until the Sunday deadline.
    • Win = you advance. Lose or miss the deadline = elimination (unless using the Mulligan — see Rule #5).

    Entry Info
    2. Entry Fee
    • $25 per entry. Unlimited entries allowed.
    • You do not need different names for multiple entries.
    • Pay via website event link.
    ◦ Deadline: Wednesday, September 3rd
    • To manage entries:
Go to “Picks → Manage Entries” on the site menu.

    Team Usage Rules
    3. One-Time Use Per Team
    • Once you pick a team for an entry, you can’t use them again in that same entry — even if you use a Mulligan.

    4. Multiple Entries
    • Each entry is treated separately. Example: You can pick the Giants in Entry #1 and again in Entry #2, just not twice in the same entry.

    Mulligan (Buy Back) Option
    5. Buy Back Rules
    • If you lose during Weeks 1–8, you may Buy Back in once for an additional $25.
    • Must pay before the next week's games.
    • You cannot re-use any previously picked teams.
    • Only one Buy Back per entry allowed.
    • From Week 9 onward, all losses = elimination.
    • Site calls this option a “Mulligan.”

    See Who Picked Who
    6. View Pool Picks
    • After Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST, all pool-wide picks will be viewable on the site so you know who to root for (or against!).

    Fundraising Purpose
    7. Supporting the Community
    • 50% of the total pot goes to the Riverside Gardens Civic Association.
    • The remaining 50% goes to the 1st place winner.

    Pool End & Winner
    8. End of Season
    • This is a Regular Season Only pool (Weeks 1–18).
    • If multiple entries remain after Week 18, the prize is split evenly among them.

There is a myth that on the weekend before Halloween, dozens of witches descend upon the neighborhood on their broomsticks and ride around cackling and drinking witches brew all night. Children stay up just for the chance to catch a glimpse of their pointy hats as they swoosh by looking for double, double toil and trouble...

Riverside Witches, grab your hats and your broomsticks (or bikes/scooters) and join us for an evening of spellbinding festivities around the neighborhood on Saturday, October 25th. Come dressed for the weather (and the ride) and join your witchy friends for some bubbly potion and witchy snacks! You'll receive a timeline for the evening with five stops for spirits and light snacks.

Please note that there will be a limited amount of tickets sold so be sure to get yours early. No tagalongs or last-minute purchases at the event will be allowed that evening. No refunds: your ticket purchase is considered a donation in the event you cannot make it. This is an adult 21+-witches only event--tell your wizards and warlocks to stay home for this one!
